Katherine Li
March 7, 2027 at 7:00 PM · Beat Kitchen, Chicago, IL
BIO For her stunning debut album, I Love You, or Whatever (out October 23 via Music Soup), 23-year-old Toronto singer-songwriter Katherine Li channels the charm, hopefulness, anxiety, jealousy, despair, and ultimately, joyfulness of her favorite rom-coms for an album showcasing the arc of a relationship in all its various crazy permutations. Conceived in four acts, I Love You, or Whatever could stand proudly next to albums by Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, and Billie Eilish. The dozen songs are filled with emotional vulnerability and fearless heart-on-sleeve songwriting that has already earned Katherine a rabid following since her first original songs posted to TikTok garnered millions of views.
